Joe Leaman

Workers Compensation Attorney
Joseph T. Leaman — known to clients as Joe — is a Workers’ Compensation Attorney at Bader Law Injury Lawyers. Admitted to the Georgia bar in 1986, Joe has dedicated his career to workers’ compensation law, bringing over 30 years of exclusive experience representing injured workers across Georgia.
Background & Education
Joe earned his undergraduate degree from Davidson College and his law degree from Mercer University School of Law, one of Georgia’s oldest and most established law schools.
Experience & Advocacy
Joe’s practice is defined by a perspective virtually no other plaintiff’s attorney can claim: he originally represented both employers and employees in workers’ compensation disputes. That dual-sided experience gives him an almost tactical advantage — a comprehensive understanding of how claims are evaluated, defended, and resolved. Now that he exclusively represents injured workers, that insider knowledge is a powerful weapon.
Leadership & Recognition
Joe is widely recognized for his leadership and influence within the workers’ compensation community. He has served as President of the Georgia Injured Workers Advocates and as Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He has also been a long-standing member of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council, contributing to the development and oversight of workers’ compensation policy in Georgia.
Practice Focus
At Bader Law Injury Lawyers, Joe focuses exclusively on Georgia workers’ compensation, representing injured workers across every category of workplace injury, from routine claims to catastrophic and fatal cases, and across virtually every industry in Georgia. His goal is to help clients secure the benefits, medical care, and long-term stability they deserve.
Clients trust Joe not only for his knowledge of the law, but also for his ability to guide them through complex claims with clarity and confidence.
