C. Ryan Lawson

C. Ryan Lawson is the Lead Workers’ Compensation Attorney at Bader Law, where he oversees the firm’s statewide workers’ compensation practice. Based in the Buckhead office, Ryan oversees the legal strategy of the department while continuing to represent clients in complex, high-value, and catastrophic injury claims. Known for his sharp litigation skills and deep knowledge of the law, he is a trusted advocate for injured workers across Georgia.

Before joining Bader Law, Ryan served as a partner at one of the largest insurance defense firms in Atlanta, representing major employers and national insurance carriers. With more than a decade of experience, he has handled nearly every type of workers’ compensation claim, from initial filings to trial and appellate court advocacy. He is a frequent panelist and speaker at legal conferences and continues to shape the field through his contributions to major rulings and legal discussions across the Southeast.

Ryan has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America for Workers’ Compensation for 2023, 2024, and 2025. He is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. His trial and appellate wins have been featured in leading industry publications, including a 2024 State Board Conference presentation highlighting a favorable decision on refusal of suitable employment. His work has also been spotlighted in the Daily Report as among the most impactful in Georgia.

Ryan earned his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Finance and Quantitative Analysis from Kennesaw State University. He is admitted to practice before all Georgia courts, including the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
