Philip W. “Phil” Lorenz is a senior personal injury litigation attorney in the Buckhead office of Bader Law with more than 25 years of experience representing injured individuals throughout Georgia. A former insurance defense attorney, Phil uses his inside knowledge of how insurance companies investigate, evaluate, and settle claims to maximize compensation for his clients. Over the course of his career, he has successfully resolved tens of millions of dollars in claims through settlements, mediation, and trial.
Phil’s practice spans a wide range of personal injury matters, including catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, trucking and auto collisions, negligent security, slip and falls, and animal attacks. He is a registered mediator, which enhances his ability to negotiate complex cases and navigate difficult liability disputes. His strategic and trial-ready approach has helped secure life-changing outcomes for clients in high-stakes cases.
Phil earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law, where he was named a Georgia Civil Justice Foundation Scholar and served as a judicial intern for the Court of Appeals of Georgia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Old Dominion University, where he graduated with honors and received multiple academic awards. He is admitted to practice in Georgia’s state and appellate courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
